Is psilocybin legal in Colorado?
Yes, Colorado has a regulated natural medicine program for adults 21 and older. The administration sessions offered through Natural Medicine Retreats are planned within that framework at a Colorado-licensed healing center with a Colorado-licensed natural medicine facilitator. Psilocybin remains federally illegal.
Where does the natural medicine come from?
For administration through a licensed healing center, regulated natural medicine is obtained through Colorado's licensed supply system. Required testing includes tryptamine-content analysis for psilocybin, psilocin, and other specified tryptamines. Applicable rules also address contaminant testing, labeling, transfers, and inventory tracking. This allows dosing decisions to be informed by regulated potency information rather than relying on an unknown source.
Who can participate?
Natural medicine services are for adults 21 and older following required screening. Participation is considered individually. Screening may indicate the need for medical or behavioral-health clearance before proceeding.
What happens before I travel to Denver?
Consultation, screening, and preparation begin before travel. Preparation may be individual and, for retreat participants, may also include group work. We address intentions, expectations, logistics, questions, and readiness.
Does preparation happen at the healing center?
Not necessarily. After arriving in Denver, additional preparation may happen individually, with the group, or at another appropriate location. The administration session itself takes place at the licensed healing center.
What is “Meet the Medicine”?
Meet the Medicine is a lower-dose introductory experience offered in some multi-day formats. It allows you to learn how you interact with the medicine and the facilitated setting before a primary experience the following day. Your response can provide useful information when planning the next day's experience.
Can I do only one dosing day?
Yes. A single-day option is available. The difference is that a single-day experience does not provide the opportunity to learn from an introductory Meet the Medicine experience before the primary dosing day.
What happens after dosing?
There is same-day time for grounding and initial processing. You then arrange a ride back to your lodging rather than driving yourself. Integration may occur the following day or be scheduled virtually several days later.
How large are groups?
Small groups are typically 2–4 participants. Some private or specialized formats can accommodate up to 8.
Are lodging, meals, or transportation included?
Not currently. Participants arrange travel to Denver, lodging, meals, and their ride from the healing center after dosing.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is individualized because group size, format, number of days, and level of support can vary. Costs are discussed clearly during consultation before you decide whether to proceed.
Is natural medicine facilitation psychotherapy or medical treatment?
No. Natural medicine facilitation is a distinct service. Jeremy's psychotherapy and whole-person background inform how he holds space, but the scope and role of natural medicine facilitation are explained during consultation and preparation.
